In this episode, we will discuss the concepts of reservations in transfer orders in Microsoft dynamics 365. Apart from the reservations, we will also do a deep dive into various different scenarios associated with partial shipments in the transfer order in MS dynamics 365 Transfer order works by shipping and receiving stock from one warehouse to another. The prerequisite for this process is a transit warehouse ( already discussed in the previous episode in detail). This warehouse will hold the stock which has been transferred from one location to another. To transfer stock will we create the transfer order, pick the product using a picklist and a registration process. Then we will receive the stock in the destination warehouse. There are some additional processes during receiving like registration of shipment and using the arrival overview to receive etc. but we will discuss the same in future episodes.
