As one of the most prolific sculptors of the 20th century, Henry Moore has work that can be found in museums and public spaces throughout the world. Inspired by the landscape around his rural home in the English countryside, Moore transformed small found objects like bones, stones, and pieces of flint into the monumental sculptures in urban settings for which he is best known today. Learn about his life and career as a draughtsman and sculptor and find points of connection with Georgia O’Keeffe’s similar turn to natural forms as a source of inspiration.
