Full Transcript

When you create a database table, all the columns need to be assigned to a specific data type. The most common types include: INT or INTEGER – integers FLOAT or DOUBLE– floating-point numbers Integer and floating-point numbers can be either signed (positive or negative) or unsigned (positive only). MySQL does not have built-in Boolean type. However, it uses TINYINT(1) instead. MySQL provides BOOLEAN or BOOL as the synonym of TINYINT(1) for convenience.
