Voice-Killer No. 1 – Fear Fear has the power to diminish your voice, keeping it small and preventing you from reaching your full potential as a singer, speaker, or performer. Fear of What Other People Think About You We'll explore how the fear of judgment from others when you sing, practice, or speak differently can hinder your progress and self-expression. Fear of not fitting in with your peer group anymore keeps you from developing an interesting voice. Fear of Not Sounding "Like You" Anymore Discover how the fear of losing your unique identity in pursuit of vocal excellence can hold you back. Fruthermore, fear of being insufficient (not strong / special / capable enough to make the necessary changes) stops you from ever starting the journey to vocal excellence. How to Overcome Fear - Do Things You Are Scared Of I'll share a powerful strategy to conquer fear: take one step each day towards something that socially scares you. Focus on the physical sensations within your body and observe them without trying to change them. This practice builds emotional strength, helping you face uncomfortable situations. Observe Your Emotions as Bodily Sensations Explore the concept of observing your emotions as bodily sensations, a transformative practice for emotional independence.
