This video explains the 3rd step in that core process to develop hypotheses in strategy studies. As you can see, quite a few things need to be set up before you build the hypotheses. So do not simply jump into hypotheses - you will end up with a mess! In other videos and training we explain when hypotheses should only be attempted independent of decision trees: when you have a deep understanding of the sector and client. To be safe, always use decision trees first.
