Meet Tara! She is 2 month old infant separated from her family. Tara lost her way and was drifted from her family while she met with deadly electric accident. Locals of Badrachalam informed Mr. Uday, an animal rescuer in Badrachalam. He took care of the primary care and first aid of Tara. He informed HfAS about the incident and requested us for further care as there is less medical care available for animals in Badrachalam. HfAS mission is to rescue animals and make sure they are taken good care. HfAS immediately responded to Mr. Uday’s requested and contacted forest department of Badrachalam and took permission to take Tara to Gannavaram for further treatment. Tara was hit by a severe electric shock and had burns all over her body. One of her hand was completely burned. Other was 50% damaged. For now there is no sign of internal organ damage but doctors said there might be chances of organ damage that could happen in future. Tara being an infant, needs utmost care and vigilance round the clock. Doctors did not confirm exact time of recovery as well. Tara’s medical care up until now came around ₹7000. HfAS do not know how long it would take for recovery to calculate approximate expenses. So, we kindly request everyone to donate to your possible extent 🙏
