In questo video vediamo come usare il “ci locativo”. In questo caso “ci” indica un posto, significa “qui, lì, in questo posto, in quel posto” e si usa con i verbi di stato e di moto come “stare”, “essere”, “abitare”, “vivere”, “andare”, “venire”, “tornare”/”ritornare”. Ecco alcuni esempi: “Quando vai a casa?” - “Ci vado dopo cena” (“ci” significa “a casa”) “Da quanto tempo abiti a Napoli?” - “Ci abito da 3 anni” (“ci” significa “a Napoli”) Ricordate che il “ci” generalmente viene messo prima del verbo. There are many uses of the particle “ci” in Italian. In this video, you’ll see how to use the so-called “ci locativo”. In this case, “ci” refers to a place, it means “here, there, in this place, in that place” and it is used with verbs such as “stare”, “essere”, “abitare”, “vivere”, “andare”, “venire”, tornare”/”ritornare”. Here are some examples: “Quando vai a casa?” - “Ci vado dopo cena” = “When are you going home?” - “I am going (there-home) after dinner” (“ci” means “a casa = home”) “Da quanto tempo abiti a Napoli?” - “Ci abito da 3 anni” = “How long have you been living in Naples?” - “I have been living (here-in Naples) for 3 years” (“ci” means “a Napoli”= “in Naples”) Remember that this “ci” generally goes before the verb.
