In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how you can use Inkscape for desktop publishing purposes to create things like reports, manuals, ebooks, and various other types of PDF documents. Granted, Inkscape probably isn't the best tool for this sort of thing, but if you just need to create a simple 2 or 3 page document, or maybe even a short ebook, and you're already somewhat familiar with Inkscape, then it would probably be more practical than taking the time to learn an entirely new piece of software like Scribus or InDesign. I've used Inkscape myself to create manuals and ebooks in the past so it's perfectly capable in that regard. If you need to merge multiple PDFs together then check out PDFsam: https://pdfsam.org/ Want to learn more about how Inkscape works? Check out the Inkscape Master Class - a comprehensive series of over 50 videos where I go over every tool, feature and function in Inkscape and explain what it is, how it works, and why it's useful: https://logosbynick.com/inkscape/ Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 01:02 Setting up the document 01:57 Changing document presets 02:59 Setting page color and margins 04:55 Creating the actual design 16:19 Saving as PDF 17:13 Creating a multi page PDF 18:13 Conclusion Intro song: "In Da Mood" by Combustibles, used with written permission
