New to Canva video editing? In this beginner-friendly tutorial, we’ll walk you through the Canva interface step-by-step so you can understand how everything works before you start editing your videos. Steps to Understand the Canva Video Interface: Open Canva and click Create a Design, then choose Video or a custom size. The main workspace opens, showing the canvas in the center. On the left panel, you’ll find tabs like Uploads, Elements, Text, Audio, Videos, and more. The timeline appears at the bottom when you add video clips or elements. The top bar shows options like Undo, Redo, Resize, and Share. Use the Preview Play button above the timeline to see your edits in action. You can zoom in/out on the timeline for better control. Drag elements or clips onto the canvas and timeline to start editing.
