Want to make your video more engaging with background music? In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add, trim, and adjust music or sound in Canva using the timeline and toolbar. Let’s make your video sound as good as it looks! Steps to Add and Adjust Music in Canva: Open your video project in Canva. On the left panel, click on Elements or use the Search bar to type in “music” or “sound.” Browse the results and drag a music track into your project—or go to the Uploads tab to add your own audio file. Once added, the audio appears below your video timeline. Click and drag to move the audio where you want it to start. To trim or split, click the audio on the timeline, then right-click and choose Split, or use the top scissors icon. To adjust volume, select the audio and click the Volume icon on the top bar to increase or decrease it. For fade-in and fade-out, click the Audio options on the top bar and toggle the fade settings.
