On July 23, 2009, police arrested Mohammad, Tooba Yahya, and Hamed Shafia for the murders of Rona Amir, Zainab, Sahar, & Geeti. They were found guilty in a Kingston, Ontario courtroom in January 2012, and sentenced to life in prison.
