It’s either they are completely clueless about what they are trying to do… they don’t have any idea of freelancing 2. Or they want to get better at their craft, or they do have existing jobs or they are already working from home, its just, they want to get better at it. Okay, for me I have a fundamental principle that I follow whenever I’m going to buy something in life, not just online courses, and I believe this help me in my decision making. So here it is…whenever I’m going to buy something, I always tell myself. “Would this thing will help me on my goal because if it does I will treat it as an investment” Yes, I always treat something as an investment whenever I’m going to buy it. Ganun naman diva?Parang par bill ka ng bang assets like lupa, stocks, cryptocurrency or anything. You know in your hearts of hearts that buying that will improve your life. You will get better… - Better skills - Better performances - Better earnings - Better food - Better things - Better life In other words, you buy a courses or a thing, if you believe that will improve you. TREAT IT as an INVESTMENT. Kasi if you do it that way, you will not have a double or troubled mind. “Gaya nung isang araw, Merong bumili isang kaibigan ko sa mga courses ng Freelance School, a group which I’m affiliated with.” I tell her, does investing 590+ pesos monthly to yourself will hurt you? I mean that is 3 Starbucks coffee per month for God sake! If that monthly membership, you use it for good and you execute the things you will learn… You will get a lot more by sending 3 Starbucks coffee per month for your education. And most importantly…you’re building a service business. Service business like Globe, LBC, or Meralco. VA business, freelancing business is a service business, and for that you have to be investing in yourself for you to provide better service. Okay, don’t take it the wrong way. Investing in yourself doesn’t need to buying the products of Freelanschool. There are many courses out there or seminars that you can join, for as long as you believe it will help you, it will do its poison.
