Using Path Linked Offset, we can create an outline around text in Inkscape. This can be using for making things like die cut sticker or t-shirt designs. Steps: 1. Type some text using the Text Tool 2. Select text and go to Path, Object to Path (Shift+Ctrl+C) 3. Go to Object, Ungroup (Shift+Ctrl+G) 4. Go to Path, Union (Ctrl++) 5. Go to Path, Linked Offset (Ctrl+Alt+J) 6. Disable-able Snapping (%) 7. Select color for outline/offset 8. Click and hold node on text and drag until outline appears 9.
