Her background includes social work, linguistics, international norms and cultures, education and humanitarian assistance. She is dedicated to empowering deprived and displaced communities and expanding access to quality education. Currently, she works as a subject specialist and educational expert at the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). There, she designs curricula for marginalised communities, trains educators to blend information technology with education, and develops procedures to overcome language barriers. Previously, she worked with the Beaconhouse chain of educational institutions, contributing to youth mentorship, educational policy development, and guiding students toward more relevant and meaningful careers. Sabahat Gul is an educator and advocate with over 11 years of experience working with refugees and displaced learners in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — a region that hosts a diverse population including Afghan refugees and families from across Pakistan. With a background in Physics and Education (BS in Electronics, M.Ed, MSc and MPhil in Physics, currently pursuing PhD in Physics), she is dedicated to bridging cultural and linguistic gaps in education, and making science subjects — especially Physics and Mathematics —engaging, accessible, and practical for all students regardless of background. Currently, she works as a subject specialist at a government higher secondary school, where she designs inclusive learning strategies, teaches physics and mathematics, supports refugee students, manages science labs, and leads school-level functions and examinations. She has previously worked with various educational institutions across government, semi-government, and private sectors, contributing to inclusive classroom practices, examination reforms, co-curricular development, and community-level awareness for girls' education and sustainability through initiatives like rooftop kitchen gardening. #TeachingEnglish #teaching
