With QuickBooks Online Advanced (Learn more: http://intuit.me/QBO-Advanced), you can track your own unique data with enhanced custom fields and then run reports on it. We’ll cover different ways to customize your reports based on your custom fields data. Once your custom fields are set up, start by selecting “Reports.” Then search for the report you want to run. For example, you can run a report on “Sales by Customer Detail,” which displays sales detail divided by customer and project. You can customize this report to show information for sales over the last two months using custom field data. You can add columns to the report to see your custom fields or reorganize the report to group data by custom fields. For example, you can group sales by sales rep instead of by customer and project. You can also sort data on reports by custom field. For example, you can sort by “project hours” and the data will stay grouped by sales rep and in each grouping the transactions are sorted by project hours in ascending order. You can use filters to limit what data goes on the report, too. With custom fields in QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can run reports to get the specialized information you need for your business.
