Conclusion: The Way Ahead in International Relations Studies This concluding lecture wraps up my Introduction to International Relations course. After fifteen weeks examining IR theory, case studies, and current events, we reflect on what we learned, which theoretical model (Realism, Liberalism, Constructivism, Marxism) works best in understanding how the international system operates, and what challenges current global events, threats, and opportunities remain in the years ahead.
