Making inline icons is one of my most frequently requested lessons. Here's how I use the website icomoon to create my own custom dingbat font, then use GREP, Paragraph Styles, and Character Styles in Adobe InDesign to create automatic inline icons. It's a bit of an advanced technique, but one I find extremely useful. Hopefully you get to use it, too! Thanks so much to Tasty Minstrel Games for letting me publicly share my in-progress layout projects. The images here are early designs for tiles in Chimera Station: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/163642/chimera-station The game is designed by Mark Major and features art by Brian Patterson. Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe. Support more videos at patreon.com/danielsolis
