Full Transcript

To break an object at a specific point in AutoCAD, you can follow these steps: Activate the Break command by typing "BREAK" in the command line and pressing Enter or by selecting the Break tool from the Modify panel in the Ribbon menu. Select the object or objects you want to break. This can be a line, polyline, or other entities. Specify the first point where you want to break the object. You can snap to an existing endpoint or use object snaps to accurately locate the point. Specify the second point where you want to break the object. Again, you can snap to an endpoint or use object snaps to define the exact location. The object will be broken into two separate segments at the specified points.
