Hey data engineers! Access keys grant you full access to the storage account which is usually way too much (especially when you think about the permissions that are needed to just store ingested data). So how can we do it better? Well, we have Shared Access Signatures (SAS tokens) that give us granular control over how a client can access the data. Join me in the 19th episode of my free DP-203 series where I talk about different types of SAS tokens and differences between them. Enjoy! ▬▬▬▬▬▬ IMPORTANT LINKS ▬▬▬▬▬▬ My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/piotr-tybulewicz-81a8793/ GitHub with my drawings: https://github.com/TybulOnAzure/DP-203 John Savill's video: https://youtu.be/E1t-x0T2bn0?si=lJw0dV-E_XsTLgWo&t=4425 Blob service actions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/storageservices/create-account-sas#blob-service ▬▬▬▬▬▬ MEMBERSHIP ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLnXq-Fr-6rAsCitq9nYiGg/join ▬▬▬▬▬▬ CHAPTERS ▬▬▬▬▬▬ 00:00 Introduction 00:44 Account SAS 17:03 Service SAS 38:50 User delegated SAS 44:51 Summary
