Hey data engineers! We already learned a lot about a data lake so it's high time to start loading data into it. Azure Data Factory is a perfect tool to ingest data as out-of-the-box it is shipped with many connectors that allow developers to connect and ingest data from a variety of sources. In this episode I'm talking about the place where ADF fits into overall BI architecture and I'm implementing a "Hello world" ingestion pipeline - from Azure SQL DB to a data lake. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ IMPORTANT LINKS ▬▬▬▬▬▬ My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/piotr-tybulewicz-81a8793/ GitHub with my drawings: https://github.com/TybulOnAzure/DP-203 ▬▬▬▬▬▬ SUPPORTING MY CHANNEL ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Buy me a coffee (or beer): https://buymeacoffee.com/piotrv Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLnXq-Fr-6rAsCitq9nYiGg/join ▬▬▬▬▬▬ CHAPTERS ▬▬▬▬▬▬ 00:00 Introduction 00:30 ADF place in BI flow 07:19 Business scneario 10:16 ADF components 18:56 Provision Azure resources 27:50 Creating objects in ADF 48:07 Summary
