In this FullStackWebDevelopment tutorial video, We are going to learn about creating our own custom #rows and #grid system #CSS to place our elements easily in our page. The CSS Grid Layout Module offers a grid-based layout system, with rows and columns, making it easier to design web pages without having to use floats and positioning. A grid layout consists of a parent element, with one or more child elements. An HTML element becomes a grid container when its display property is set to grid or inline-grid. All direct children of the grid container automatically become grid items. The vertical lines of grid items are called columns. The horizontal lines of grid items are called rows. The spaces between each column/row are called gaps. This video illustrates how these row and column properties can be used to place our elements differently on our page by applying different attributes to it making it more flexible. ---------------------------------------------------------- Week 1: Day 4 Section 3: Intermediate CSS Tutorial 21: Rows & Columns ---------------------------------------------------------- Do subscribe and hit Bell Icon ---------------------------------------------------------- Follow us in social media handles for opportunities and code related support.
