In this FullStackWebDevelopment tutorial video, we are going to learn about #CSS #colors. This video also teaches us how to add gradient and #shadows to various elements. There are three ways in which we can use colours in our file. A) CSS Color names: Using the name of the colour directly. B) CSS HEX codes: Hexadecimal colour codes are a combination of letters and numbers. The numbers go from 0 to 9 and the letters go from A to F. When using hexadecimal colour values in your HTML/CSS, you precede the value with a hashtag. C) CSS RGB value: RGB (red, green, and blue) refers to a system for representing the colours to be used on a computer display. Red, green, and blue can be combined in various proportions to obtain any colour. This video also teaches us how to add gradient and shadows to various elements.CSS defines two types of gradients: A) Linear Gradients (goes down/up/left/right/diagonally) B) Radial Gradients (defined by their centre) With 'text-shadow' property we can add shadow to the texts in the horizontal and vertical direction, also can apply colour to the shadow and add a blur effect to it. With box-shadow property, we can apply shadow to an element in the horizontal and vertical direction along with shadow colour and blur effect. ---------------------------- Week 1: Day 2 Section 2: Getting Started With CSS Tutorial 11: CSS Colors and Shadows ---------------------------- Do subscribe and hit Bell Icon ---------------------------- Follow us in social media handles for opportunities and code related support.
