In this FullStackWebDevelopment tutorial video, We are going to learn how to work with #CSS #margins and #paddings. What margin does is it creates space around an element and what padding does is it creates space within an element. Margin is a shorthand property for the following properties- margin-top, margin-right, margin-bottom, margin-left. You can set the margin property to auto to horizontally centre the element within its container. All the margin properties can have the following values: -- auto - the browser calculates the margin -- length - specifies a margin in px, pt, cm, etc. -- % - specifies a margin in % of the width of the containing element -- inherit - specifies that the margin should be inherited from the parent element Negative values are allowed. Similarly, padding is also a shorthand property for padding-top, padding-right, padding-bottom and padding-left.
