The CPU in this build is the brand new Intel Core i7 8700K, a 6 core, 12 thread CPU with a base clock of 3.7GHz and 4.7Ghz this CPU is the perfect choice! Not only does this CPU allow games to take advtange of upto 12 threads, it also has great single threaded perofmance, with a high single-core boost clock of 4.7GHz. THis means that older titles, such as GTA V, CS:GO, DOTA 2 and League of Legends, which favour single threaded performance will not be put at a disadvtange in terms of performance! The new CoffeeLake CPU line up does run hotter than previous Intel releases, which is why I chose the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240, with dual 120mm fans and sleeved tubes its a great AIO CPU cooler at a great price! For the Motherboard in this build I chose the MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC. With the Z370 chipset you get support for overclocking, more PCI-E lanes and more connectivity. The motherbaord also features WiFi and Bluetooth to get you connected out of the box. With good RGB implmentation on top fo the Carbon finish this is agreat motherbaord choice from MSI! For the RAM in this build, 32GB of AData XPG Spectrix D40 will not only perfom well, but look great, with RGB support for MSI Mystic Light! The RAM is easily overclockable in the motherbaord BIOS and works really well! For storage I chose a 500GB M.2 SSD, the Samsung 960 Pro M.2 drive. It is very fast, uses the new M.2 storage standard to aleviate a SATA bottleneck and very reliable! For mass storage the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM is a good choice with 2000GB of storage capacity and a 7200RPM speed (as fast as most HDDs get!) For the graphics card I opted for MSI's brand new GTX 1080Ti, an 11Gb graphics card, wit htheir new triple fan cooler it overclocks very well and looks amazing! With RGB implemtation on the top, and red LEDs around the fans it stands out really well! Combined with the dark grey and black finish and this GPU looks like nothing else. Add the Nvidia GTX1080Ti design into the mix and this is the best graphics card to buy in 2018! For the Case in this build I chose the Cooler Master H500P, the ATX full tower case supports upto E-ATX motherboards, features dual 200mm intake fans, with support for a upto a 360mm watercooling radiator in the top and bottom! This case looks fantastic, with a temepred glass sidepanel, and provides a good build experience, with a verticle GPU mount built in! The power supply is the penultimate part in this build, the Cooler Master V850 is a fully modular, 850W power supply that has an 80+ gold rating, meaning it is very efficient and reliable! It also has headroom for upgrades later on, helping to future-proof this build!
