Welcome to Teacher Webinar 4: Effective Questioning. This webinar is part of the webinar series on Experiential Learning: Preparing Young People for Success After School by Teach A Man To Fish. It took place on 19th May 2020 with teachers from all around the world. Webinar description In this webinar we explore how you can unlock your students’ inner potential through experiential learning and your role as a teacher-facilitator. We begin by discussing the video "Bring on the Learning Revolution!" by Sir Ken Robinson and the traditional education system and role of teachers. Then, we explore the role of teachers as facilitators through experiential learning programmes such as the School Enterprise Challenge (www.schoolenterprisechallenge.org). Next, we share two practical tools focused on the power of effective questioning - one for teachers to help their learners deepen and reflect on their learning, and another tool for students themselves to use to reflect on their learning. Finally, we introduce you to an experiential learning activity which teachers can use with their students in the classroom.
