We continue to calculate confidence intervals for two samples. In this video we look at samples where we are interested in the difference between two means where the population standard deviation is unknown, and therefore we must use the student's t-model rather than the normal model. In addition, we look at the calculations necessary when the population variances are assumed to be unequal. 0:00 Intro 0:10 Conditions 1:21 Formulas 2:17 Example 1 - Problem Statement, Given Summary Statistics 3:50 Example 1 - Find Point Estimate and Critical t-Value 5:38 Example 1 - Find Margin of Error and Interval 6:50 Example 1 - Interpret the Interval 8:27 Example 1 - Using Excel 12:07 Example 2 - Given Data 14:28 Up Next Power Point: https://bellevueuniversity-my.sharepoint.com/:p:/g/personal/kbrehm_bellevue_edu/EUwZd9jwMHtAoizJ2OOou3cB2YA0UE4h5gsshz3124-JQA?e=wscfxV Excel Data: https://bellevueuniversity-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/kbrehm_bellevue_edu/Edh3jE-uRfNJteNBZBGbcxgBjHADeMw2jQIRS_LVZaswzA?e=9c1twy Confidence Interval Decision Tree: https://bellevueuniversity-my.sharepoint.com/:b:/g/personal/kbrehm_bellevue_edu/EbcsvXnQcsxAjGEmqReLNS4B-bxNVp6EzXRPrsFLxbaUSQ?e=ehmDq1 This playlist follows the text, Beginning Statistics, 3rd ed, Warren, Denley, Atchley Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl-gb0E4MII1dkfGxmdt8YA0Dgabdvdmq
