We will now switch gears and take a look at what occurs when we have ordered pairs or ordered triples, etc., of data. The data is obviously dependent, but we aren't interested in the differences between two observations. Instead we are looking at the correlation between two data values. For instance, does height effect weight? For this first video we will explore creating a scatter plot and determining the strength and direction of correlation, if it exists. 0:00 Intro 0:06 Scatter Plot Data and Terminology 2:22 Relationships in Scatterplots 5:00 Guess the Correlation 9:39 Pearson Correlation Coefficient 13:28 Creating Scatter Plots and Calculating Correlation in Excel 18:56 Up Next Power Point: https://bellevueuniversity-my.sharepoint.com/:p:/g/personal/kbrehm_bellevue_edu/EWya5FAPszFBq_8NKkWdjJsBpekY59k862YftQnhSroXMw?e=3FDbaQ Excel Spreadsheet: https://bellevueuniversity-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/kbrehm_bellevue_edu/Ee9BJhzvkrdEu29Po0mIonIBWzQLZxBFScbw4hXj11RMFA?e=zKru1c This playlist follows the text, Beginning Statistics, 3rd ed, Warren, Denley, Atchley Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl-gb0E4MII1dkfGxmdt8YA0Dgabdvdmq
