Master Productivity 1000 PLC program control! Stop struggling with scan timing - learn task management, loops, faults & program flow in 16 minutes. The program control method and instructions will allow us to specify which parts of the logic are solved and when. This will control how the PLC scans and executes your program's logic using a synchronous PLC Scan. https://accautomation.ca/understanding-the-plc-program-scan/ Understanding the PLC program scan explains synchronous and asynchronous program scanning. Individual ladder logic programs get solved left to right, top to bottom. The result of the rung before is available for the next rung. Task Management provides a clear view of the overall flow of your PLC program. Looking through the task management folders, we can see blocks of code. These blocks contain the ladder logic that will solve our logic. Instructions within the ladder logic code can also determine how the PLC will solve the logic. We will be looking at using program control in the Productivity 1000 Series PLC. Let's get started. ๐ FULL WRITTEN TUTORIAL + DOWNLOADS https://accautomation.ca/productivity-1000-series-plc-program-control โฑ๏ธ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 - Introduction to Program Control 0:42 - Productivity Suite Software Overview 1:31 - Task Management Panel 2:13 - Run First Scan Only 5:22 - Run Every Second Task 6:36 - Run Called Tasks 7:51 - For Next Loop and Break 11:03 - Stop Program Instruction 12:11 - User Defined Fault 14:22 - Task Organization and Management 15:49 - Program Transfer and Wrap Up ๐ WHAT YOU'LL LEARN โ How to use Productivity 1000 task management with 5 different folder types โ Master For Next loops and Break instructions for efficient PLC scanning โ Create user-defined faults with custom error codes and stop conditions โ Organize and reorder program execution using drag-and-drop task management ๐ MORE RESOURCES โถ Series: https://accautomation.ca/series/productivity-plc/ โถ PLC Beginners Guide: https://accautomation.ca/programming/plc-beginners-guide/ โถ Free eBooks: https://accautomation.ca (subscribe for download) ๐ RECOMMENDED HARDWARE โถ Training Kits: https://accautomation.ca/series/productivity-plc/ ๐ฌ Questions? Here are just a few. - 50MB user memory - Can handle very complex applications easily. - 4 built-in communication ports โ Easy connectivity to your network. - Data logging up to 32 GB on a microSD card - Add up to 8 IP modules to communicate with your field sensors. This will give you a total of 128 discrete IO points or 32 analog IO channels. - Free Software and 30 days of free training with every CPU from Automation Direct. - Interactive PLC Configuration Tool - Tag Names - Auto discovery IO โ Physical I/O tags will be generated based on each module's position in the base. - I/O Modules have QR codes under the wiring cover. This can be scanned so you can have the latest specifications/wiring diagrams for the module. - Limitless PID โ Auto tuning โ Individual or Cascade Mode - etc - Web Server and Mobile Access - Advanced Software instruction set The Productivity 1000 series of programmable logic controllers currently includes all of these features in the P1-540 CPU. This CPU (Central Processing Unit) is also known as an MPU (Multi-Processing Unit) due to its communication capabilities. Regards, Garry ACC Automation http://www.accautomation.ca
