Like in any creative discipline, a common struggle we can face as designers is coming up with ideas and sometimes it can be overwhelming and hard to get inspired and find direction. One of the best ways to come up with ideas is to undertake research. Over the years of designing logos I have developed a system that helps me narrow it down. So when it comes to thinking about colour for my logo design, I typically undertake 4 Tasks: 1 - Consider Colour 2 - Sample Colour 3 - Apply Colour 4 - Perfect Colour In the last video we started thinking about colour for our logo design where I discussed task 1 and the things you can consider to give us some good ideas to steer us into a good direction for our colour choices. By working through our thought process, this can generate a more clear idea with a very specific set of criteria to base our colour on. In this video, we are going to continue to think about colour, and I am going to demonstrate task 2, how we can sample and pick colour for our logo design.
