Check out the full motion, forces, & momentum playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSQl0a2vh4HCiFE95STYVxTZ6Ep402vfa Newton's second law states than an object's acceleration is equal to the net force acting on the object, divided by its mass. Newton's first law is a special case of the second law when the net force on an object is zero. Newton's second law applies to macroscopic objects moving much slower than the speed of light. Sections: 00:00 - Intro 00:23 - Connecting acceleration and net force 04:59 - Effect of mass on acceleration 06:13 - Newton's second law 07:08 - Newton's first law is a special case of the second law 07:50 - Inertia and mass 08:30 - Limitations of Newton's law 09:05 - Applying Newton's second law ------------------ Khan Academy is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.
