In this HVAC Training Video, I Explain the Similarities between a Bead Thermistor and a Tube Thermistor used on Mini Split Units! The electrical resistance changes as the temperature changes. The unit sends electrical current through the thermistor to measure the voltage drop on the other side. It calculates this voltage drop to know the temperature.
