This electronics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into the LM386 Audio Amplifier circuit with contains a bass boost feature and uses a potentiometer for volume control. The LM386 Op-Amp also has a gain control feature when pins 1 and 8 are used. The voltage gain can be increased from 20 to 200. The bypass pin 7 must be connected to ground using a capacitor for this feature to work properly.
