In this lecture we will study about 1. Dialectical Materialism as conceptualised by Karl Marx which is in direct opposition to Hegel's concept of Dialectical Idealism. 2. Forces of production and Production relations which form the economic base which Marx terms as infrastructure influencing the superstructure comprising of various social institutions like Religion, Family, Education, State etc. 3.
