Inkscape step-by-step tutorial on how to remove the background from a jpeg or png image. Follow along in this Inkscape screen capture showing how to take the white background out from behind simple logos so they have transparent backgrounds, as well as how to remove the background from a full color, complicated image. The two methods shown are the Trace Bitmap Tool and the Bezier Pen tracing method.
