It brings forth the explanation of Equality as a relative term, followed by the views of Harold J Laski and R H Tawney on Equality. It discusses Positive and Negative Equality in brief. Later it discusses the idea of equality as Modern Idea and as a harbinger of Social change. It also discusses the various kinds of Equality including- Natural, Social, Political, Economic and legal. Finally it highlights the relationship between equality and justice and spheres of contention and cooperation between Equality and liberty.
