In this video, I’ll guide you through a straightforward technique to create a fading banner image effect as users scroll through content on the page — achieved using a Custom Widget in FlutterFlow. By leveraging Components and Widget Parameters, we’ll build a reusable wrapper Custom Widget that can be implemented across multiple pages. This approach not only adds a subtle visual enhancement but also promotes cleaner, more modular design. As FlutterFlow does not currently support this feature natively, I’ve written custom code to replicate the desired behaviour. Through the use of Widget Builder parameters, we can precisely control where your content appears within the widget structure. This simple example highlights the versatility and power of Custom Widgets within FlutterFlow. 👍 I always provide the sample project to accompany this video.
