Over the past 35 years, Jon Kabit-Zinn and others have pioneered the acceptance of mindfulness as an evidence-based approach to stress reduction and other health-related disorders. From its start in stress reduction, secular mindfulness has expanded its positive outcomes to include many different areas of human experience.
