Instrument Technician Course - Common Instrumentation Faults - 4-20 mA Loops

In this vide we are going to look at common instrumentation faults. As an Instrumentation technician a big part of your job is to look into and fix instrument faults. We are going to look at the 6 most common 4-20 mA loop fault types. The loop will be a standard Pressure / Temperature / Level or Flow Instrumentation. The loop will terminate into a PLC input card. Some of the loop issues will involve electrically issues such as high and low loop resistance, component failure, Calibration error.
