Clock triggering techniques in digital electronics allow us to configure our sequential circuits to synchronize to the different properties on the clock signal. There are 2 basic categories 1. Level Triggering 2. Edge Triggering In Level Triggering the SR flip flop or the sequential circuits respond to the steady levels either LOW or HIGH thus the level triggering technique is further classified as HIGH level triggering or LOW level triggering. In Edge triggering the SR flip flop or the sequential circuits respond to the leading edge or falling edge of the clock signals thus the edge triggering technique is further classified as Positive Edge or Negative Edge triggering.
