http://www.ProFirstAid.com One of the best ways to childproof a home is to get down on the level of a child, on your hands and knees, and look around. Any small toys or objects left on the ground are easily placed into a childs mouth. Thin metal objects that can be placed into outlets, such as hangers, pose a danger of electrocution. Cups of hot beverages left in places where a child can reach can cause burns if the child pulls over the cup. Staircases are dangerous for children who do not yet know how to use them. Assure stairs are clear of objects and if the stairs have a door, make sure it is closed when children are around. If there is no door, use a safety gate. Video created by ProTrainings.
