Overview: • 5 plugins in the suite (all purchased as one bundle for $99), inc. Captain Chords, Captain Deep, Captain Melody, Captain Play and Captain Deep. • You can buy Captain Plugins (sans Captain Beat) for $79, or Captain Beat on its own for $50. • The plugins all talk to each other, making sure your music’s always in key. • They all have internal instruments, or you can route them to your favourite VSTs (like Sylenth1 or Serum, for example). 1:39 Captain Beat (Brand New): • Drum machine • Quickly switch out different kits and patterns 5:00 Captain Chords: • Tap in Rhythm • Use computer keyboard • Lots of different chords to experiment with • Drag to MIDI 9:30 Captain Deep: • It writes bass lines that work with Captain Chords • Again, drag to MIDI when you’re happy 13:30 Captain Melody: • As above, but melodies. 15:20 Captain Play: • It’s a jamming plugin. A bit limited in my opinion, but definitely great if you’ve got no keyboard playing skills. Good for melodies. David Guetta rates this. Essential Info: • Available for Mac and windows. • 64 bit only!
