Welcome to electrical engineering with Excel. In this video, we will look at some Visual Basic for Applications user defined code in Excel, to select the best fit resistor values for a voltage divider. This is only for the selection of 1% tolerance resistors. Although 1% tolerance is good, arbitrary selection of values can result in the divider’s output being less precise than it could be. Let me show you an example.
