This lecture discusses agglomerative clustering, a hierarchical clustering technique that starts with each data point as its own cluster and then iteratively merges the closest clusters until a single cluster is formed. The results of the clustering can be visualized in a dendrogram. Agglomerative clustering does not require the number of clusters to be specified beforehand.
