Wrapping up Chapter 1 of Basic Mathematics, let's reveal multiplicative inverses for rational numbers. We couldn't do this for integers, but we can for rationals. Using multiplicative inverses, we can solve equations very quickly, even when they seem really complicated.
A lot of the rules for rationals match what we learned for integers, so we don't have to relearn much.
