Learn how to submit work for payment on Upwork for fixed-price jobs in this step-by-step tutorial. Never begin work for a client until they have sent you an official job offer that you have accepted via Upwork. The official job offer should have money deposited in Escrow to ensure you are offered payment protection for your job completion. There are two methods to submitting work for payment. You may choose to directly send the file via attachment to your client in the Messages section. With this method, the client must release the payment to you. The better option is to directly click the Submit Work for Payment option which you can access under the Deliver Contracts section. The client will then have the option to approve the payment and if they do not do this within a certain time frame, the funds will be automatically sent to you.
