Stock Investing for Beginners | Scott Thompson | 1-7-26 Today we did a brief review of the 3 different strategies we are using in the thinkorswim paperMoney account to show different ways new investors might consider participating in the markets. We did a deeper dive into our sample "2 Green Arrow" Investing plan, reviewing the rules, buy signals, and exit rules associated with the plan. We showed how to use a buy, stop-limit order, a type of buy order, and how and when to adjust stops on open stock positions. We also introduced a new profit management technique that shorter term traders might use to minimize potential losses and to potentially capture more of the profits on stocks that have moved quickly in their favor.
