Career Development - Twitter as a Tool for Communicating Your Scientific Research

This Zoom workshop was held on May 24, 2022 for A.P. Giannini Foundation Fellows and Alumni. Dr. Victor Nizet (@victornizet) and Dr. Sergey Stavisky (@sergeydoestweet) were the presenters. They shared how they use Twitter to engage with a wider audience and collaborate with other scientists. Dr. Victor Nizet is a member of the A.P. Giannini Foundation's Scientific Advisory Committee. He is Professor & Vice Chair for Basic Research, Department of Pediatrics, Professor of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of California-San Diego. Dr. Nizet has also been a strong supporter of the Giannini Foundation's Leadership Program. Dr. Sergey Stavisky was an APG Fellow from 2018-2021. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis, where he co-directs the U.C. Davis Neuroprosthetics Lab. Dr. Stavisky received his Sc.B. from Brown and his Ph.D. in Neurosciences from Stanford in 2016. http://www.apgianninifoundation.org
