http://www.greenemath.com/ In this course, we will explore trigonometric functions of acute angles. We will use the familiar SOH-CAH-TOA to remember the three main trig functions, sine, cosine, and tangent. We can get the remaining three (cosecant, secant, and cotangent) from the reciprocal identities. We will then move into trigonometric functions of non-acute angles. Here, we will use the concept of a reference angle and the sign rules (All Students Take Calculus) for trigonometric functions. Next, we will move into approximating the values of trigonometric functions using a calculator and explore how to solve basic problems that involve the inverse trigonometric functions. Lastly, we will look at problems that deal with solving right triangles, along with angles of elevation and depression. 0:00 Trigonometric Functions of Acute Angles 19:30 Trigonometric Functions of Non-Acute Angles 40:07 Finding Trigonometric Functions Using a Calculator 52:40 Solving Right Triangles
