This video series covers the Nervous System for Anatomy and Physiology students. It discusses the generation and propagation of an action potential, excitatory and inhibitory synapses, and chemical verses electrical synapses. It also describes information processing in the nervous system and compares the different types of nerve fibers. The videos contrast depolarization and hyper-polarization and discuss how they relate to stimulation or inhibition in a neuron. The videos are done by Dr. Katy Wallis at State College of Florida.
