In this video, Mr. Krug shows students how less product is often recovered than we theoretically calculate. We can compare the actual yield and theoretical yield to calculate the percent yield of a chemical reaction. Mr. Krug works several examples and shows students how to calculate the percent yield in stoichiometry problems, even in cases where the theoretical yield might not be given in the problem.
